Homewood Press Now Using Windpower
Pouring rain didn't stop the excitement during the turbine raising ceremony for Homewood Press of Toledo, Ohio.  A dedicated crew braved the weather to raise and set a Skystream 3.7 wind turbine on a 60' monopole tower.
 
The wind turbine now partially powers the printing company's new energy efficient facility.

Understanding Dual-Fuel Heating & Cooling
Combination heat pumps and furnaces, often called dual-fuel systems, are commonly used to save money on heating and cooling costs.  A heat pump provides heat when the temperature is above 30 or 35 degrees.  Once the temperature drops below that, a furnace (usually natural gas or propane) supplies the home with heat. 
 
By using the energy source that is most efficient at a given temperature (electricity in warmer temperatures, gas in colder temperatures), both money and energy are saved.  In the summer, a heat pump provides air conditioning.
